Story

Route: Starting from Kildare Village passing St Brigid’s Well and The National Stud, then ending at Market Square, Kildare Town. A mindful 5km walk to remember those lost to or families in the aftermath of suicide. Commencing at 5am from Kildare Village on Saturday 23rd April. Car park opens 4.30 am Voucher for Breakfast Roll for all those registered. #DawnWalkKildare Adults €20 Children/Students €10 All proceeds go to offering immediate crisis counseling to all that need it.

ABOUT THE charity

Teach Dara Community and Family Resource Centre

The house was originally built in 1884 as a home for the De la Salle Brothers. They donated the house to St Brigid's Parish in Kildare in 2004. The Dawn Walk fundraiser takes place every year to raise much needed funds for free crisis counselling in Kildare Town. Teach Dara is a place to bring the Community of Kildare town together.
